- Concentration even leads to partial blindness.
- If there are different ways of achieving a goal, people will gravitate towards the path that is easiest.
- Switching between two tasks requires a lot of effort.
- In order to perform hard brain functions you need concentration as wells as deliberate control of attention. But if you can achieve ‘State of Flow’ you only need concentration.
- When you are busy, you lose self-control, you don’t care about sounding rude or replying to your partner in a cute way.
- System 2 —> Self Control —> Ego Depletion.
- Even impressing others is a form of Ego Depletion.
- While doing a difficult task your blood sugar level drops.
- While doing stupid question, System 1 will make you give a wrong answer. If System 1 sees a conclusion is true, it will also try to convince you that the argument is also true.
