-
THREE pillars of mindfulness
- how to best approach the technique.
- how to practice the technique.
- how to best integrate the technique in real life.
- You should not just sit and do meditation, instead integrate the meditation in your life.
- Meditation is not the process of forcing your thoughts to stop, but a process of observing your thoughts. Sometimes you will run after your thoughts, but you will come back.
- Soon you will not have urge to run after your thoughts.
- Meditation is the process of giving up control and step back and not to get continuously sucked into thoughts
- BLUE SKY - mind, CLEAR CLOUDS - happy thoughts, DARK CLOUDS - unproductive thoughts. Albeit these things the mind will always be true.
- Always remember there is a calm side of you.
- Let’s say we are in a large space. Consider you thoughts to be a wild horse and it is tied to a rope which is held by you.
- Now tighten the rope slowly, so slowly that the horse does not feel it is pulled.
